PTA Executive Board for the 2008 - 2009
School Year
President - Carrie Thalheimer
My
name is Carrie Thalheimer and I am the new PTA President for the 2008-2009
school year. I have two daughters, one who just finished 5th grade at Bear
Creek and is on her way to Stricker and the other is starting Pre-K this year.
I want this to be a great year for all of the students and with all of the other
members of the PTA Board, I'm sure it will be. Please let us know if you
have any questions or concerns this year.
1st Vice President - Tami Christou-LeBrun
Hello, as many of you know I am
Tami Christou-LeBrun. I am now the current 1st vice president. I was
2nd Vice President of the PTA last year. My daughter is now moving on
up to the 5th grade. I am also a substitute here at Bear Creek. I
look forward to another wonderful year at bear creek. I hope to see you around
the halls.
2nd Vice President - Ginger Blankenship
My name is Ginger Blankenship
and I am your new 2nd Vice President. I have a daughter who will be
entering the first grade. I am looking forward to a fun & rewarding school year.

Treasurer - Eric Previti
I am Eric Previti, the new PTA
Treasurer for the 2008-2009 school year. I have a daughter entering first grade
& a son who is 3. I have 14 years of work experience in the financial industry.
I am looking forward to a great school year. Please feel free to email me with

Secretary - Shay Kennedy
Hello, my name is Shay
Kennedy and I am the new PTA Secretary for the 2008-2009 school year. I have two
boys who are enrolled at Bear Creek. My oldest is starting first grade & my
youngest is starting Pre-K. I know that this year will be an awesome one, we
have a very good group with the same goals in mind. If you have any questions

Special Education Liaison - Michelle Grub
My name is Michelle Grubb, I
am the new Special Education Liaison. My daughter is going into the 2nd
grade this year. I am a Baltimore county substitute teacher. I often sub in Bear
Creek’s CALS program. I am currently back in school to be a full time
instructor. I am excited to see what this year brings.
Fundraiser Chairperson - Melissa Previti
I am Melissa Previti, the
PTA Fundraiser Chairperson for the 2008-2009 school year. My husband, Eric is
the new Treasurer. It is going to be an exciting year for all of us & I am happy
to be a part of it.
